"Papa Jack" recently turned 106 years old and remains vital and active in the business he founded in the industry he pioneered. He is to western wear what Henry Ford is to the car. Jack A. introduced the first commercially made shirts with snaps 
and bolo ties and is responsible for helping popularize Western fashion. His original designs have become the mainstay of the Western look, a fashion uniquely American. These designs are the longest continuously running fashions in America. Those of us who know "Papa Jack" are the better for it.
